I'm interested in this. This notion started a few nights ago when I was out with buddues. 1 if them is a CBB fan the other 4 not really. They're more CFB/NFL/MLB. Me and the guy who follows CBB were talking about Simmons vs Hield and none of the other 4 guys had any fucking clue who either of them were. I may try this because I think I'm right.

Because the premise is that people seem to believe having Simmons in the tournament is a must for ratings. It won't matter even a little. People watch the tourney because they love CBB or for their brackets. No one is turning on LSU vs Seton Hall in the first round JUST to see Simmons.
