Tomorrow the 3rd major of the year starts @ Royal Liverpool (home of the Beatles).

I'm going with Adam Scott...definitely has the game, should have won last year actually...I think he's got the confidence...2nd choice...Justin Rose.

If the weather turns bad, we might not see an American in the top 10 this year.

Who you got?

1) My Pick: Sergio Garcia - More of just a feeling here. He's got to win a major at some point, and I've always thought his first would be the Open.

2) My Darkhorse: Jason Day.

3) My Crazy Outta Nowhere Darkhorse: Chris Stroud. Just an unknown name that has ability to burst on the scene at some point.

Both good picks...Sergio is playing well right now...you would think he has to bag at least one major, and he's been close here.

Day...if he all the way back from injury you think?

Another guy I like is Stenson....I really think a Euro or international player is going to win it...American, Kuch...I like his lower ball flight, has won in tough weather before

Me too. Don't see the big name American's really getting it done over there. Bubba and Dustin don't really have the game for links golf. Speith certainly needs some experience. Tiger has the worst swing on tour. Phil hasn't really been lighting it up.

Always a fun pick, but he has some serious game for a guy creeping up on 50. Top 10 LY I think.

It's a fun pick but it's also a solid one ...the guy just appears out of nowhere at majors.

I like GMac, good pick...Rory, man idk, Phil won with a high ball, maybe he can too. Cool Hand Luke...another maybe...but his game has cooled off some lately.

I really liked Rory's approach to the course this morning...lot of guys were taking irons off the tee to avoid the bunkers, but he attacked with driver quite a bit...he has not followed up great rounds well lately so we'll have to see what happens tomorrow.

I have a feeling 66 will hold up well today.

The highlight of the day thus far had to be Stenson breaking his club after barely getting out of the rough on 17 I believe. Looked pretty shaky out there especially with his putting.

Yes, and he really committed to it and his follow through was flawless.

Phil not making anything, but should get it going with the 3 par 5s on the back...Bubba I think could go low on the back.

Sergio looked pretty good this morning too.

The guy who can hit "controlled" low hard shots into the greens...always a problem w/ wind at the British Opens. Guys that hit the high approach shots will suffer as usual.

Take away any of Phil's 5 missed putts he could have made anywhere in his career ..I bet he would have 5 more majors.
