Did you write this, John? If that's really your name. I still think that BE football was pretty good back in the heydays, but have to agree, doesn't compare to where we are at now. TT is young at certain positions and Texas will be soon strong again.nthis conference will be insane.

Saw this from Chris Anderson over at 247 sports today,

With West Virginia's move to the Big12 and tougher out of conference schedule, the Mountaineers have found themselves on national television more than ever before. After yesterday's announcement that the Iowa State game would be televised on Fox Sports 1, that means ten of this year's regular season games were broadcast on national networks. The two that were not were shown regionally - Towson (Root Sports) and Maryland (Big Ten Network).
Since making the move to the big twelve, 32 of West Virginia's 36 regular season games have appeared on national networks. And of those 32, twelve were shown on broadcast television (ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox).
Those numbers are considerably higher than those over the three years prior (2009-2011) when West Virginia was still in the Big East. During that span, only 23 regular season games were televised nationally and a measly five on broadcast networks.
With the Mountaineers continuing to build their brand - and their out of conference schedule - there will likely be several seasons in the near future where every West Virginia game is broadcast nationally.

Sure do miss those BigEast days.......:lie:

There were cries for that during the Towson game, The TOWSON game! (myself included). ROOT sports was broadcasting the Pittsburgh Pirates game and it ran late and into the WVU game. People were going ape shizza.
