He was the best , pure butter.. Sadly my grandpa passed away from the exact same cancer he had, Bile duct cancer... They say usually it's an old man's cancer, but sadly Walter caught it so young... First sign by my grandpa was yellow skin at the dinner table, we were all like WTF .... Cancer doc said that's usually the fist sign, and by then it's too late, that's why it's such a high fatality cancer ..... It was beyond sad seeing Walter go through that... So RIP to both from me...

Well there have been some great ones, Brown,Payton, Dickerson, OJ, Sanders and on and on...
But, my GOAT RB is non other than the Brahma Bull himself, big Earl Campbell.....
He was a runnaway bulldozer when he got goin'.....Him and Brown consistently ran over, thru, and carried players as they ran the ball...
It took multiple players to get them on the ground, no finess needed, muy macho style....

Was a huge fan of Earl Campbell but I would put him right in the 5th - 8th area in terms of all time backs.

So many greats. Walter certainly was one and without googling, he was 45 when he passed, right? Poor man hardly enjoyed the nice retirement he earned. A great man all around.
