Exactly - I mean unless you don't think the Pens are going to make a deep post-season run, how do you not take Sid as one of your top picks? I mean maybe you take Malkin or Kessel before Sid if you think they're going to get more points, but to see #87 drop to the 18th pick is mind-boggling to me.

You'd have to sell it to me pretty hard that mostly-the-same-team which has made two straight Cup runs will suddenly not be able to make a deep playoff run for me to not take Sid if he fell to me at, I don't know, like 6. He'd certainly be off my board by 10. He's produced at near-top levels more often than he hasn't.

I'd take Sid any day as long as Max Talbot is off the board. Superstars gonna superstar.

My biggest fear about tonight is Philly trying to gain control of the momentum with some questionable or more than questionable hits.

I'm gonna say Phil the Thrill. I see the Pens on the PP early and often from Philthy trying to "send a message" and Phil should get plenty of good/great looks for that wicked wrister of his

Gudas was strangely subdued in game 1 - That can't last long.

He probably will, then he'll laugh as he pops it back in himself and goes back out onto the ice for his next shift.

I think he's an actual madman.

You forgot part cyborg

Not bad for a 7th round pick (I believe he was the very last selection in the 2005 draft)

What a clusterfuck of a work day. I can't wait to get home and fill myself with beer and playoff hockey.

If that puck is two feet in the air, Sid puts it in the back of the net.
