Virus aside, as Saddles pointed out there will be more teams still with a chance to make the playoffs this year than ever before. 60 games is not a lot of time for teams to gain distance from one another, plus they’ve added teams to the playoffs. So there will be like 22 potential buyers and only like 8 or so sellers. Sellers will have all the power, and there is always at least one or two teams willing to overpay for that one piece they think can put them over the top.

I don’t blame you for being optimistic about the trade market this year, but last year the twins and Yankees showed the world that they would rather lose to the astros then give us prospects for minor or lynn.

let’s hope that’s not the case this time.

I guess the rest of the numbers have tainted my view of this team

IKF has played better than a lot of our other players.

Frazier has been a good pickup so far.

I bet this team would have 1-2 more wins if we brought back hunter pence. Was he available and did we even try?

I know many don't seem to like Trevino but I actually like what he does overall. On the walk to load the bases he laid off those sweeping curveballs from Rondon. He also threw out 44% of the runners trying to steal last year.

Gallo in RF, Calhoun in LF and Choo at DH, where was Pence supposed to play?

I think Trevino is at the very least a solid backup, probably never going to be a great hitter but he seems to get good ABs when necessary
