Sorry to bring up bad memories but does anybody remember which game it was that Jimmy Raye called a flea flicker from the opp 30 yd line.

That play single handedly made me cancel my Sunday ticket.
I was telling the story the other day and I cant place who they were playing.

The only thing I remember is that it didn't fool anyone because the deep WR was double covered, and Alex had to check down. OR... Alex checked down because he sucks.

Whichever way you view it... the play was a disaster.

I really can't remember. Unfortunately, all I remember clearly, is when the Broncos did the flea-flicker on us and got a TD, but it was called back.

I'm pretty sure I remember the play and the game you mean though, because I remember Alex checked down because the safety didn't bite, and Alex caught hell for it on ESPN's gameday thread.

Raye was fired after the Atlanta game last year, so he was the OC for:
Seattle, NO, KC & Atlanta

It was the Chiefs

It was in the 2nd quarter @ 7:43 and we were down 7-0. The play was a 3rd & 3 from the Chiefs 33. The pass was incomplete to Vernon, which lead to a 51 yd FG.

Haha! Yeah, that whole game was astonishing and not in a good way. Hell, the entire season last year was astonishing and not in a good way.

When you have a techmo bowl four play offense, you have to work with the reverse/flee flicker play if it's there that week.
