Just a heads up guys, hearing from my friends who work for the City of SF and their upper management. They said a shelter in place could be coming soon at least for SF and possibly the surrounding bay area(likely Wednesday). Obviously every area of the country is different, but the thought process is that it is just a matter of time until the rest of the country takes the same course of action.

Not telling ya'll to panic or anything, just letting you know what I'm hearing around here. Stay safe everyone.

My wife's sister's friend works for the CDC. She said in the next 36-48 hours there will be a lockdown for the entire U.S. Not surprised considered Italy acted too late on this.

My wife is getting some more food today so we should be set for 3-4 weeks just in case. Pretty much no meat or bread though at any grocery store.

Yeah pretty much everyone will be required to stay locked down, aside from likely essential staff (hospital employees, grocery stores, etc.)

I can't imagine them actually shutting down stores to provide food, but if you can likely stock up on some food now, I'd suggest doing it.

Yeah that would be interesting. Only contacts inmates have are from guards and if they see loved ones. My guess is you still work but no visitations...

My wife's hospital is now on lockdown. They have no visitors, no randoms, you need to be in critical condition to be seen. Other hospitals in the city have done the same.

Trying to figure out what to do with my business and my staff. Restrictions say essential business open, but that's kind of open to interpretation. Most of them actually want to come in to work, which is weird. I've given them the option a while ago to start considering potential work from home options, but none of them really wanted it. We also have limited resources in working from home, so that presents a challenge too. This is crazy.
