So me and a couple guys were having a baseball discussion today at work and they were talking about Randy Johnson and I asked them do y'all think he's the best left handed pitcher of all time and they both said yes and I said better than Lefty Grove? Better than Sandy Koufax? One of the guys looked at me and said I didn't know Koufax was a lefty, I literally turned and walked away. Am I a fucking snob or is it right of me to think if you don't know something like "The left arm of God" was a lefty you should not be having conversations about baseball!!

but honestly, only mock heads like us and people in the REAL baseball industry care whether a player is a lefty or a righty... the end results are all that matters...


but i guess once the question was asked whether johnson was the best lefty of all time, you can't answer it if you don't know who was a lefty...

One of them is 30 the one who said he didn't know Sandy was a lefty is 39. There's no excuse for that IMO, if you don't know that one of the greatest players of all time who had the nickname left arm of God was a lefty maybe you should stay out of conversations about baseball!
