Yea ALR, but Fletcher played at 252lbs all of his career. Badass to the bone and the Rams never should of have traded him to Boofalo but gave him the raise he wanted. Those were the horible years after the GSOT and when the Queen Bitch was freakin' out as usual and John Shaw was just always in over his head.

The Los Angeles Rams were wheeling and dealing in the 2025 NFL Draft, walking away with six selections and a 2026 first-round pick in their pocket. However, a narrative that seems to be discussed is that the Rams didn't do enough to bridge the gap between themselves and the best of the NFC.

It's unclear how the thought that there is a gap between the Rams and the conference's best exists, but it's simply not true.

This is not an attempt to sound like a Rams homer, but there's opinions and there are facts, and these are the facts.

First off, the Rams are a top team in the NFC.

Secondly, what evidence says they're not? It seems that the discussion is always about how the Eagles and the Chiefs stay on top is due to finding value in the draft.

Why are the Rams not in that discussion? Only three teams in the 2020s have won a Super Bowl. The Rams are one of those teams, yet no one likes to talk about that.

The Rams have missed the playoffs twice in eight years. Once this decade.

The Rams smoked the Vikings in the postseason. A week before, the Vikings were playing for the number one seed in the postseason.

The Rams lost by six to the Eagles in the playoffs. In the Eagles other three postseason victories, they won by an average of 20.6 points per game.

The Rams had two needs, corner and linebacker.

While the Rams did not address the corner position, it does make sense considering by the time the 26th overall pick came up, both Travis Hunter and Jahdae Barron were off the board, and many of the top remaining corner prospects had injury issues that probably scared the Rams.

The Rams needed a dominant corner, not just a player to add. Plus, they remain in talks for Jalen Ramsey.

The Rams added to their front seven, employing enough manpower to stop Saquon Barkley.

So this belief that the Rams didn't close the gap is factually incorrect because the gap does not exist. Look at every Rams loss in the regular season, then look at how many of them happened with Puka Nacua injured, with Cooper Kupp hurt. Look how many of them happened before Omar Speights became a starter.

The Rams are currently the second best team in the NFC and probably the NFL. Name a team outside of the Eagles better than them.

Chiefs? I'll take the Rams' defensive line any day over what the Chiefs can do.

Bills? Josh Allen had the game of his career against Los Angeles and lost.

Let's get real about the draft. This wasn't a rebuild, they reloaded and now they're gunning for the Lombardi.

Maybe, but London was drafted at 242, just 7 pounds heavier than Pooh at 235.

I don't know if Pooh will ever get to 252 as a healthy playing weight, but the current average NFL Inside LB is about 245.

Who knows RR, he may never come close to the NFL average even after a few seasons in the league. They say his HS playing weight was listed at 235 too, the same as College.

What were the odds that starting a draft with all of those 6th rounders would result in a draft with no players selected in the 6th lol?

Early 2026 mock drafts are predicting 5 QB's taken in the first round. Looks like it'll be a great year to have two #1's and to need a QB

They could of done a lot of different things, DJ but they didn't do squat. McShitFerBrains would not have tolerated anything coming from Sanders especially with tag-along Deion. Ernest Jones had a similar affect as Shedeur and look what happened to him. McShitferBrains doesn't tolerate anybody who thinks he is bigger than the team.

I'm curious as to where that came from??? The thing is we never hear the player side of things only what FO and coaches "want" us to hear. I don't believe for a second that these guys believe they are "bigger" than the team. But i will say this, there is nothing wrong with having budding confidence in your ability, there is nothing wrong with being outspoken and proud. If anything that is what i want my QB to be, "that guy", or my captain on defense to be. Those are tone setters IMHO. There is so much shade going around for this kid who hasn't had any run ins with the law, off the field issues etc. But since the league has an AX to grind with Dieon we are where we are. Luckily for us, we don't need a QB just yet.

Yea, Vita, he is close. Fletcher was actually closer to 5'9" but he would tackle players like a battering Ram (no pun intended) but he was very quick and he had speed. Fletcher was the complete middle LB back in those days and the season after he left, Robinson and Fritz Shurmur changed the 4-3 Defense to a 3-4 Defense because of personell and many D-line studs had retired.

I think Paul Jr will get there and I am fairly confident he will be good enough to finally bury Reeder to fulltime STs! I see Paul Jr adding a few pounds to get up to that average you quoted to 240-245lbs. I think he and Landman and rotations with Speights will finally take care of our ILB weakness that has plagued us for nearly a decade.

After this draft, I think the Rams' brass sees enough young talent to make a Super Bowl run this season with a closing window of opportunity with some of our talented Vets.

For this reason, I see Ramsey back in horns for a season to complement Stafford & Adams.

I hear Miami may wait cutting ties with Ramsey until his dead money comes off the books as their best move.

I think you are describing leadership qualities vs Prima Donna qualities I'll describe as self-entitled, expectations of special treatment or special attention. Also, demanding, arrogant & unwilling to work well with others.

I personally don't see these Prima Donna qualities in Sanders. I think he has a legitimate shot as a quality starter at this level with his talent, skill and pedigree.

I'm not sure it happens in Cleveland though; their QB room is standing room only. This could make his NFL journey an unconventional one and a harder road to success.
