The obvious condundrum is the Rams can't both be headed to a potential Snooperbowl appearance and get a top Draft pick in 2026. So they may just tank this year to accomplish the latter.

That issue has been discussed on various podcasts amongst the ex-players that have hung around like Fitzpatrick, Whitworth, Farr, Clark, and Jones-Drew.

If they were going to tank, why bring back Stafford? I think the Arch talk is just reading too much into a conversation. Snead has a son at Texas so he's always checking out the talent there.

Arch is a pipe dream.

Isn’t going to happen unless Stafford gets hurt and out for most of the season. Even then, Jimmy G is good for a few W’s.

Plus, I think the Giants are really wanting Arch and they have a way better shot.

Not too shabby, Shopson. Although I would have taken Higgins over Golden.

I like this pick. Could probably get this guy in the 6th Round too. And he was a High school QB so that means the option TE pass for the TD. This guy is about the size of Johnny Hekker with the same QB skills as Hekker. Would be a very good value pick.

If the Rams are adding to the DL in this draft, the 9 buckets analysis strategy is a good method to use. And the guy the Rams should focus on is Darius Alexander from Toledo. Dude is stout.

Not really a big fan on this one. I don' tlike Golden as our #1 pick when WR ain't a priority like that. Grant seems developmental so i don't want to waste a 3rd round on a guy who will take all the time to develop. CB/LB should be higher up on that list.

Yea, Jermaine, especially when there are better OTs available in the Third Round like Wiley outta of West Virginia, Zabel from North Dakota State, Conerly from Oregon, and maybe Ersery from Minnesota.

It's a matter of maximizing value. The ideal move is to trade back into the 2nd and get perhaps another 3rd. Lakers run a lot of zone, and zone corners can be had later in the draft. LB is likely a depth position at least initially as well, with Speights and Landman starting.

In the 3rd round, any OT will be developmental. They need an eventual Havenstein replacement, for which a developmental guy is a good fit. There were 4 potential OTs taken between #26 and 90 in this mock (Savaiinaea, Ersery, Mbow, Cam Williams. Jones, Brown, Belton and Trapilo went shortly after. I think Grant likely goes earlier than the 3rd, so getting him at 90 may be wishful thinking anyway.

WR is going to be a priority sooner than you think. Davonte is nearing the end and on essentially a one year deal. Atwell is on a one year deal as well. Staying ahead of these needs is a key to continuity.

Zabel went at 22 and is projected inside to guard or center. Conerly went at 38 (missed him on my previous post), Ersery at 54. Did you mean Milum from West Virginia (he went at 68)? I don't see other West Virginia linemen on my rankings sheet other than a UDFA center.

There is a lot of reality on this mock but this particular article has a bent of a certain journey a given player arrived at to be so-called "Rams worthy". I don't like the author's selection at DT; Too small of a player. Alexander would be a better fit and is much bigger to what we need.

The WR position would be either Higgins or Joel. Also, his choice at OT is way down the list. Many better selections there, but every other selection is pretty right on!
