Looks like Dallas may be the ghost suitor for Kupp. Since Samuels got a big contract, all for a 5th Rounder from the Redskins, the Rams are hoping at least a 6th Round pick swap at best. At worst, a 7th rounder for the Rams.

Or if Dallas is patient, they will get Kupp for nothing when the Rams cut him but have to pay Kupp $7.5 Million March 17th.

I wonder if we are low enough that teams would trade up to take somebody giving us a 2nd rounder

Well Red, that is the prevailing sentiment being floated. That is, if the Rams can't land Warren at 26 in the First Round, they want to trade down and into the Second Round where they would pick the other TE Colston Loveland.

They are low enough for that possibility.

Question is will there be anybody worth trading up for. This draft is deep at a lot of valuable positions, but many experts believe drafting someone at 15 will not be a significantly better player that someone taken at 40 in this years draft.

Finding a team willing to give up valuable draft capital for a player at #26 that won’t be much different than one taken early 2nd will be tough.

But, you never know.

And the question that begs to be asked is: Who gave Kupp that bloated contract to begin with?? Things are shaping-up that Kupp will either have to be cut OR brought back under the present contract.

Either one is not good but may be a blessing in disguise. That being, if the Rams don't have a lot of cap room to chase down FAs, maybe that will put a halt to the horrific record of the ShitferBrains Twins of spending too much money on bad FAs as it appears they have a penchant for doing the last several years.
