Same for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is even older at 41 years of age. The Rams should take the Geeants offer (if indeed they offered picks for Stafford) and go with McCord and say Garappolo for a year. Or turn around and sign Darnold for a year. Otherwise, Stafford and his defacto agent wife are going to bulk and drag-out negoitations into training camp like last year.

The ShitferBrains Twins need to pull the trigger on this one. They had no problem moving E. Jones on a short notice and apparently they don't have that problem with Kupp. Time to cut ties with the aging stars of old.

I'd like Stafford to stay for 2 more years but I'm ok with this above. Trade Stafford to the Giants ( I mean, he thinks he can win there so good luck ), draft McCord or a TE or WR and sign Rodgers to 1 or 2 year deal. Supposedly he doesn't want to go out like this, meaning his last season with the Jets. He wants redemption.

Least we have options.

The Athletic did trade scenarios for trading Cooper Kupp. Not going to list all of what they say and just the scenarios they listed:

1. Falcons get Kupp. Rams get fourth and 7th round picks in 2025.
2. Ravens get Kupp and the Rams paying down part of Kupp's contract. Rams get Ravens 4th and 6th rounders in 2025.
3. Cowboys get Kupp and Rams paying off a portion of the 2025 salary. Rams get a 2025 5th rounder and a 6th rounder in 2026.
4. Broncos get Kupp and Rams paying a major portion of his salary. Rams get a 2025 6th rounder.
5. Texans get Kupp and Rams paying off a portion of his 2025 salary. Rams get 2025 4th round pick and John Metchie III.
6. Chargers get Kupp. Rams get a 2026 4th round pick.
7. Patriots get Kupp. Rams get a 2025 4th round pick.
8. Jets get Kupp and a 4th round pick. Rams get Davante Adams and a 2025 5th round pick.
9. Steelers get Kupp. Rams get a 2025 4th round pick.
10. Commanders get Kupp, lowest of the Rams 6th round picks and Rams picking up a portion of Kupp's salary. Rams get 2025 6th round pick and a 2026 6th round pick that could turn into a 4th or 5th.

Just curious, what makes you think Richardson would thrive under McVay? What has Richardson done with Indianapolis that shows you he would thrive under McVay? Looking at his stats, they are not good. Watching his highlights, he under throws and air mails his receivers. Yeah, he plays for the Colts and they are not the best, Flacco's numbers are better in the exact same offense throwing to the same people. I'm not convinced. I think we stay away from Richardson, add Fields to the list to stay away from.
I feel like Richardson really hasn't been coached well so far. McVay could tailor our offense to what he does well and help him get better at things he doesn't. Plus, having an o-line like ours would give him time in the pocket and help him see the field better. Underthrows and overthrows are usually because of the pressure on the QB and rushing their passes.

These are all good. I like scenarios 1-5, minus number 4.

My personal preferences were 5 and 8 where we get someone back in return. That way, we can focus on other positions of need instead of having to worry about drafting a wide receiver as well.

Richardson has an offensive minded coach in Indy. Another offensive minded coach will do him no favors.

Ehhhhh I don't know man... As someone else mentioned, he already has an offensive minded coach and his playing style doesn't fit McVay's offense.

We don't need him, his accuracy isn't that great and he is injury prone. NO NO NO, if he had the arm and accuracy as Jaden Daniels then yeah. But as of now i don't see that.

Well, the Rams are running into a snag with negotiating a new deal for Stafford. They may have to do something different as Stafford's demands are getting a bit beyond what the Rams want to do.

The Rams really should just find a trade partner like the Falcons, Chiefs, Iggles, Stillers, Caboys or even the Texans and just get the deal done and move on.

This is what I was talking about with Stafford, the lack of guaranteed money is a crap excuse. He signed the deal knowing this was the case, but no, he needs more. This is the same garbage Jalen Ramsay pulled on us. You signed a deal knowing how it worked, honor it.

Yep and because of it, LTRF, the rumor mill of Stafford being traded is really heating-up. The latest is a trade to Pissburgh where the two teams will swap 2025 First Rounders, with the Stillers getting our 26th pick and we move up to the 21st pick in this 2025 First Round. We also would get a 2025 Second Rounder.

Then the Stillers would add a 2026 3rd or 4th Rounder. If Stafford takes the Stillers to the playoffs, that pick could go as high as a 2026 2nd Rounder.

I say take it and move on from Stafford!

Alot of the insiders like DeMarco Farr and Travis and others are suggesting taking the Vikings offer of a First Round in 2025 (No swap), Sam Darnold, and a 2025 Second Rounder for Stafford. Another good offer.

The other rumor escalating is the Iggles and Chiefs trading for Kupp for a 4th and 7th by the Iggles and a 4th and 6th by the Chiefs. I'd take either offer!

Where are you getting your information from? Can't trade for Darnold, he signed a 1 year contract... He is a FA.

No thanks to Darnold. I thought that the talent that the Vikings had around him made him look way better than what he actually is. He was exposed in the games against us and Detroit. Let some other team waste money on him.

Colin Cowherd is pushing this idea of trading Stafford to the Geeants for the 3rd overall pick and a 3rd or 4th Rounder. The Rams would then like to trade that 3rd overall pick to move down a couple of slots and pick-up more picks like a 2nd, 3rd, and a 5th. Then Cowherd is suggesting that the Rams sign Aaron Rodgers for one year. That makes little sense. Just go with Garappolo for another year and pick-up a boat load of very good players in the draft.

I really doubt the #3 pick is on the table for Stafford.

I don't begrudge Stafford wanting his contract renegotiated (and I'm sure the Rams want to do so too). I don't believe his 2026 money is guaranteed, not a great idea for either side to be in a lame duck situation.
