I just don’t see Dallas taking the kind of slide necessary for that to be possible.

Finish 1st or 2nd and you won’t see Denver until the Conference finals.

We all love our teams and I think most of us have pretty good lives it seems. We like our teams to win but it’s not the end of the world if they don’t. What I think a lot of people don’t fully realize with the Thunder is truly how together they are. It’s like Hoosiers stuff and is the part I’m enjoying the most. A few years from now it’s doubtful any of these guys will still do some of the team stuff they do now, but as a fan how can I not love what they are doing? Money changes things, and the odds say it will have a big effect on the relationships. But right now the pure truly egoless basketball being played is a joy to watch. Can it stand up to experience? I guess that’s what we are going to find out.

We also have to see what teams are still playing for something.

Last year, playoff seeding came down to the very last game.

Under normal circumstances, I would agree.

The play in has changed that some what.

You can have a team finish 8th because of injury and get their main guys back before the real games begin.

Both 8 seeds made it to the conference finals just last year.

I personally had the Bucks as contenders until playoff HIMMY Butler happened……AGAIN.

If anything though, the play in makes it harder to predict who that first round opponent will be.

Making it even more futile for top seeds to worry about the matchup.
