He didn't sign up for Ham whatsoever. He also structured his extensions to allow him to pressure the front office. If he's the only force for forward movement, Lakers fans should totally support him. If they let this team continue to fizzle out this season, he'll walk and they'll be AD, AR, and a bunch of stiffs next year.

Pelinka is fine getting deals done, but there is nobody at the wheel in the front office behind him. This team has needed a president of basketball ops for quite a while now. Jeanie is better than Jimmy in that she usually trusts others to make basketball ops decisions. Problem is, those "others" are the Rambi.

A rebuild shouldn't be necessary, they were just in the WCF. They DO need a head coach with a clue however, as he has lost the script completely. I don't know if he's killing time waiting for Pelinka to save him again with another roster-reshaping trade or what, but he's got to go.
