Uncle Rico is a better stop gap than Glennon

If Elway wants to sign Keenum, maybe he goes BIG in FA like in 2014 and tries to win with Keenum now.
If you draft a QB at #5, the plan would have to be to play him sooner rather than later. Elway just said last week this was a lesson learned with Lynch. He know believes rookies QB s need to learn by baptism by fire.

Things I REALLY love about Allen and others things I don't like at all.

He has amazing tools, the best tools in the draft.... I feel most comfortable with Rosen though.

I sour on Darnold daily. Actually have Mayfield ahead of him on my wish list now.

and don't count out Mason Rudolph if we pass on QB at #5.

How about Keenum and Rudolph??

Probably have to trade back into the first from late rd 2 to get him.

Im still in love with Rudolph and he is my personal fav QB in this draft (not calling him the best) but I'd be thrilled with him if we found a way to use our 2nd rounder on him.

Really depends to me how we would set up the Keenum contract. I wouldn't give him a ton of guaranteed money, but if we set the contract up well that if he succeeds he gets his bag and if not we can part ways!

I go back and forth on this QB decision daily. With Cousins I think you have to draw a line in the sand and say "this is what i'm willing to pay and won't go over it. For me $30 million has to be the absolute max. I do like the signing of Cousins for one big reason and that is how much that opens up the draft for the Broncos.

You know - I think if the Broncos want to pay Cousins $30 million - go ahead. It is hard enough to be an arm chair talent scout - without adding arm chair cap analyst.

Can we funnel money to Cousins through the NRA?
