I've really warmed up to brussel spouts over the last 2 decades. Cut those suckers in half, blanch em and then fried on the stove top with your favorite marinade and olive oil, salt-n-pepper to taste and serve hot.

skip all that shit. half em. oil and salt and pepper, roast em in the oven at 400 for about 20 minutes or until they are browned.
Taking it up a notch...same recipe, but diced up some bacon and mix it in there with it. Same cooking style, but as soon as ya take em out, drizzle some good balsamic vinegar over em.
I love brussel sprouts...they just have to be browned...that's the key.
