Would have loved to see you come back one more year.But I think I speak for most Devils fans when I say thank you for restoring our pride this season and all you have done for us over the years enjoy your retirement.

I am confused. I thought he would be back considering how he turned the team around after that start and almost got them to the playoffs but fell just short.
