In the 6 games Bonilla has started this year:

104 PA, 4 2B, 2 HR, 11 BB, 33 SO, .204 BAA, .288 OBP, .312 SLG

I know it's a small sample size, but he's been pretty good as a starter. Walks seem to hurt him more than anything. We have nothing to lose.

4.1 ERA this year, and pitched well last night. 3.4 ERA over his last 9 outings. Yeah his numbers aren't great, but there's not much to get excited about this year. Except getting to see some youngsters get a shot.


Opponents are hitting .198 in the last 28 days off of him, and .216 in the last 90 days.

He's a good stretch but the bad outweighs the good, he's on the 40 man so there's no harm in bringing him up, he's cannon fodder and, to me, nothing to get excited about

Who gets the top AL waiver claim next year if we finish with a better record than COL, but worse than the Astros? I'm assuming we would still get the first chance on the waiver wire, even though they get the 2nd pick no matter what.

They're 5 games up on us, and better than we are. I think we're ok there, hopefully. ARI and COL are the 2 I'm most worried about. I just get the feeling that we'll screw this up too. Nothing else has gone right.

I am worried as well about those two. And their division is not as tough as ours.

This will be a big challenge behind the plate for Tellis.

Looked safe to me. If it is truly when the ball is all the way into his glove then Telis was safe. Telis needs to be patient at the plate there though. He and Odor are very similar in their batting stance and approach.


How was there not enough evidence? Slow it down frame to frame and there's plenty of evidence. They never even did that.
