Tie goes to the runner...he was safe...

Amazing they can't get these right even with replay. Hell they looked at it for a minute and 14 seconds and still screwed it up

Being inconclusive should not have mattered there. Tie should have gone to the runner. It is about getting the call right.

I think a healthy Choo can hit close to 20 and Fielder close to 30. Choo has had 2 bad years and both because of injuries.

I think Fielder hits more like 15-18 next year if he even plays again which is not a given. Choo has only hit that many once in the last 4 years and he another year older next year. He is already getting hurt more as he ages. I don't expect anything close to his best ever again.

In 3 of the of the last 4 years that Choo is healthy he hit 20 or more. He hit 13 this year. So he could have been close to 20 easy if halfway healthy. And if Fielder is healthy he shoukd exceed 18 easy. Where is Choo getting hurt the more he ages?

Exactly, and they took the time to review it so get it right

Then we better get a bonafide hitter to replace Rios. Melky maybe. Would not rely on Choice next year.

Holy hell, didn't realize Dutch was pitching tonight! Aside from the score, how has he looked?

He has had two significant injuries this season. Could that be a coincidence that it happened the year he was the oldest? Yes, it could. He may hit 20 again next year and each of the 2-3 years after that. I just don't hold out a lot of hope for that though. Besides, I would like 25 or more from our COFs. 20 will not cut it unless we are like the old Rangers where our C, 2B, and CF all hit a lot of HRs. When all of your power is in your corners you need a lot more than 20 from each of them to get your offense back in shape. Even Beltre might have problems hitting more than 20 from this point on.

Actually surprised to see him back out for the 7th. But he is really pitching and not throwing. Just very crafty job.

I am glad my favorite pitcher is back. I think Derek is going to have a great year next year.
