I think Beck is somewhat overrated as well, but he’s still better than their backups. With Beck I think Georgia would have a chance at the title, I don’t see it with their backups.

Beck is certainly not worth a first round pick, he’ll never be a franchise QB IMO. I’m not sure about any QBs in this year’s draft - maybe Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward will be decent, but I’m not sure. One reason why I’m glad the Falcons got their QB last year.

Teams other than Bama, UGA and occasionally LSU (and now Texas) are not often legit contenders so their fans cheer for conference.

Shallow pool this year. Beck and Aller from PSU have never made sense to me as pro prospects. I could see a universe where Kyle Mccord has a better pro career than Beck/Aller.

There will be about 3 teams reaching for a QB and every one of them will be rinse and repeat in a couple of years. I don't see a single QB coming out of college right now that's worth more than a 3rd round pick. They are all bad or at the very least, need a lot of development. Just my opinion, mind you. Somebody might be a surprise but none of these kids looks even close to being ready for the pros and most of them look like they are in Drew Lock territory as career back-ups at best.
