He's a backup catcher. I got that. He had a good run offensively last year 15 points above his career BA but has crashed back to 30 points under it this year.

Real problem is though he's really not a very good catcher.

Yes. He's a whole universe away from MY on the talent scale. Has the audacity to be wearing a real catcher's number. Guys like him (and TT for that matter back when he was sitting on the TEX bench) shouldn't get to wear single digit uniform numbers.

and of course torr chokes, he is definitely the ranger i cant stand the most.

i would like to know one thing torr has done during his tenure with the rangers that actually stands out in helping the rangers win a game? his batting avg. might have been decent last year, but those were mainly meaningless hits when there was no pressure on him


with the way the rangers are going right now, murph probably hits into a dp
