fuck that place and their dirty peanut pails... never been cleaned.

Med/Well 16oz Ft. Worth Rib eye "smothered" in mushrooms.... yeah more like a mushroom truck dumped a load on the meat... couldnt see it through the shrooms... was dry half way thru... and not really impressive. nothing to stand out as "Texas Roadhouse"

mashed potatoes n gravy was good... Green beans were great... rolls were good and the cinnamon butter for them was great. Sweettea was good...

$33 w/tip YEAH overpriced. place has like 50 people working there.
You ordered it medium well and then complained it was dry. Makes no sense.

Did you ask for ketchup to dip it in too?

Wtf is wrong with you?

No, he just had it slathered in some fucking gravy most likely from a powder. :L

I’ve never had a steak at a restaraunt that I couldn’t prepare better myself in less time for less money.

Went back for Lunch today, had Filet Medallions on rice, with mashed potoatoes and green beans. Med/well again... they never dried out. I figure The ribeye was just too big to eat, before it dried Out.

You make it more than obvious that you have no clue about steak.

That must be quite the change from dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets.

roadhouse is easily the best chain steak restaurant out there. i've never had a "bad" steak there. but, i never order anything other than a top sirloin at a restaurant, especially a chain. ribeyes i usually only prefer my own

their entire menu is like, 4 meals, all of them featuring some variation of those chicken fingers they have. and they serve you krinkle-cut ore-ida fries, which is laughable; like "what is this, the local snack bar at my kid's little league game??"

Pretty much get an 8 oz sirloin erytime. Never been disappointed there.

I've quit adding mushrooms though. Just load the baked potato.

I prefer to do my own ribeyes as well. But if we’re taking the grandsons out, a 12oz Ribeye at Texas Roadhouse is my usual. Used to go 16oz but my old ass doesn’t need that. I’ll have a sirloin now and then. Both my grandsons swear to their ribs though and they will usually have a sirloin and ribs combo. I defer to them on that one but I don’t go to a steak place for ribs.

What I won’t have is their chicken fried steak. There are just better ones out there to be found. That’s the only thing they serve I avoid.

One last thing - the TR’s in Texas all serve Shiner Bock. Logan’s doesn’t and neither does that overrated Longhorn. This is important.
