Yeah, there is no really good alternative. It is all hands on deck though. Just about everyone but Eovaldi should be available to pitch.

Hopefully, Scherzer shook the rust off last time and can go 80-85 pitches.

I was here in spirit… haha. Actually, I was too nervous to watch or post. I watched the game via the ESPN Game Tracker. Thought I was going to vomit when they loaded the bases in the 8th. And of course the highlight was Adolis hitting the GS and sending the classless Trashtros fans back to their slums.

I think you have to go with Max in Game 7. He’s not the ideal option, but he is far more dominant than Dunning when he’s on. If we somehow get lucky and get the elite form of Max, he could carry us to the win. But if it’s seen very early on his slider isn’t breaking, we throw Dunning in right away. Maybe Monty if the situation becomes desperate enough.

I know Javier has an excellent postseason record. I know he shut us down in Game 3. And I know our lineup often struggles against average pitchers. But we can beat him. We absolutely can.
