But if you’re stuck in an awful slump where you can’t time or square up on anything, swinging at the first pitch (no matter HOW perfect) is absolutely not the way to break out of it. In fact, it’s the worst thing you can do. Any hitting coach would tell you that. See pitches. Work on timing. Get a better feel for the exact location.That pitch was right down the middle
