Have thought about a SWA direct flight from Little Rock to Hobby to take in 1 or 2 also. Trying to talk my wife into it ... although she reminded me that Sat is our anniversary.

Did this quite a bit before my son was born. My brother lives there and we would go down for interleague play and he would come up. Now I need my son to be able to sit still long enough to take the 45 minute flight and then at least a couple of innings of ball before we start it back up.

Hit like he hits, and it makes perfect sense to expect to be in first place. Facing three left-handed starters over the next four days, I won't be surprised if AB continues to convince his teammates that first place is where the team belongs. Also might expect big series from both Baker and Gentry, who have hit lefties very well this year.

Certainly makes sense to keep your priorities straight. Let us know how that works out. LOL There are definitely some outstanding restaurants in Houston. The game Saturday is a 6:00 start, so maybe an unusually early or late dinner is in order. Just 'saying

Hmmmm ... maybe that's the reason Wash strangely started Gentry against a RHP last night?

Might see Baker at 1b or DH a bit too.

Hadn't thought of that, but maybe that is an example of Wash's genius that is not always transparent to lay-folk like me. Either way, I definitely expect to see both Gentry and Baker in the series.
