Matt Schaub - QB - Texans

Matt Schaub was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's loss to the 49ers in favor of T.J. Yates.

Schaub completed 19-of-35 passes for 173 yards and three more interceptions, including a pick-six for the fourth consecutive game. He was downright terrible and can't complete any out-breaking routes. Schaub threw the pick-six on his first throw of the night to Tarell Brown. Brown later got him again, as did DL Tony Jerod-Eddie. Schaub has thrown an interception in eight straight games, including last year's playoffs. He's tossed 13 interceptions in total over that span. Schaub will likely start next week against the Rams, but that's not certain.

Honestly, he hasn't looked much like a rookie this season. I'm truly impressed with the kid

Oh I agree, wholeheartedly, it wasn't meant to be a slam on Reid, he's been really good. Justified Baalke's decision to trade up for him.

I want to give our safety play alot of credit. they haven't been beat all year down the field.

The whole secondary played great today and Bowman did a nice job in coverage on their TEs too.
