What do we do if we run out of DL? That is certainly going to limit what we can do on defense.

N e update on McDonald? Did the injury look bad?

Maiocco called it "potentially" serious but I think that was considering how quickly McDonald went to the sideline, how quickly he then went to the locker room, and then how quickly he was officially ruled out for the rest of the game. Usually when all those things happen, it's not a good injury. Hopefully they dodged another bullet.

Ray McDonald - DL - 49ers

49ers DL Ray McDonald exited Sunday night's Week 5 game against the Texans with a right biceps injury.

McDonald headed to the locker room after sacking Matt Schaub on a third down in the third quarter and was ruled out almost immediately. That's a sign it's a significant injury. The Niners are down to Justin Smith, Glenn Dorsey, and Tony Jerod-Eddie as their lone three healthy defensive linemen.

I wonder what Ty Warren is doing on the street these days? He's old as heck and hasn't been able to stay healthy lately, but I wonder what the story would be on him if they need a body?

torn bicep maybe??

That was my main fear when I watched it. Of course I always fear that injury for a player when I see them grab their arm because as I said earlier, I've dealt with a bicep injury myself and been around plenty of athletes who have injured it.
