He handed HFA to LAD on a silver platter by treating the Phils series as a meaningless series. What a fool

When was the last playoff series between two teams that both got no-hit twice in that season?

Amazing.

As a PHillies fan, I know I'm opening up a "pot calling kettle black" deal here, but what was up with all the Mets fans booing the guy after the last out? It's not like he ended their season-they won the division. Shouldn't they at least give the guy an ovation?

Shadows are going to be no fun with Kershaw and Grienke if that indeed comes to pass.

Mets need the dodgers to lose their final 2 games and they must win tmr. LAD clinches HFA in the NLDS with a win tonight

Although it's just for the 1st 3 or 4 innings...the shadows will also affect the Dodgers' hitters while facing deGrom in game 1, and either Thor or Matz in game 2.

Agree but you just don't give away HFA to a team that most believes is better than you especially in a short series. Also when you take into consideration that Dodgers road record which means they're one of the best home teams in baseball also. Of all the teams that are going to make the playoffs, the only team with a worse road record than LAD will be whoever get the 2nd AL WC while the only team with a better home record is the Cardinals but if the Dodgers win tomorrow, they would finish the season tied with St. Louis for best home record in baseball.

Collins does not swing a bat or throw a pitch. Yeah, he puts the lineups together, but these are supposed to be major league players. They have stunk up the joint for over two weeks now after looking like a solid playoff team from mid-July to late August.

Probably, will just take the Mets a bit longer. If their bats just get hot for a week, they could do some real damage though. The pitching is there. Gonna be a tall order to match Kershaw and Greinke in those first two games.

The Yankees will be on the road now, right?

Depends. If they lose and Houston win, we traveled to Houston instead.

Either way we're going to lose.
