I found this site, where you can filter a player's career matches.

During FED's loss to Raonic, they said he had never won back to back 5 setters.

I figure most players who were regulars in the top 20 for their career, had played in many 5 setters, and probably won back to back ones.

I thought I would check out Sampras' 5 set matches.

You can also filter by multiple events by control clicking on multiple events.

The only one of these majors he'd win was the 1997 AO.

I think the bigger takeaway is that FED has played in a lot of 5 setters, just not back to back.

He's played in 44 5 setters, but only the 2013 AO, and 2016 Wimbledon had them back to back.

Sampras has played in 48 5 setters. 10 of them were a part of a back to back. Sampras also had a gaudy 33 - 15 record in those matches, compared to 24 - 20 for FED.
