He was the coach of the Islanders 3 seasons ago so I see no reason to think he is blacklisted.

Don't know for sure, but a lot of strong rumors at the time. Muckler was the GM at the time when the Jack Adams winner (Nolan) doesn't stay on & can't get another NHL.

Yes obviously something is messed up. He is a good coach that seems to get the most out of his players. I guess getting the most out of your players wives isnt in the job discription.

Maybe they should start a Jack and Jill Adams award winner.
