Texas Tech. It's hard to judge them based on their opponents so far, and I haven't seen them play, but how are they going to do with their Big 12 schedule? Do they have a solid QB?

West Virginia. I keep them in the top 15, but are they going to get knocked out pretty soon? What is their defense really like?

Louisville. I've said a few times that I'm impressed with their program overall. When we were all talking about conference expansion, I looked up Louisville attendance, and even though they've been on a skid since 2007, their average attendance has continued to go up. Is this going to be a big year for them? Who are their weapons?

Southern Florida. Why so inconsistent? Do they make a lot of mistakes, or are they just sometimes unable to cover weak points in their roster?

Their next 6 games are brutal. Maybe they can find a way to win 2 of them?? I know nothing about their QB.

I could see WVU running through the Big XII with only 1 loss...we'll find out a lot more about them when they play @ Texas on the 6th. Their defense has given up an average of 5.03 YPP thus far, not exactly stellar.

I think it will be a big year for them in the fact that they will represent the Big East in a BCS Bowl. I wish I knew more about their players but I don't.

They suck.

As far as Tech is concerned, as of last week our qb led the nation in td's. Schedule has been atrocious. #1 d in the nation and #2 o. Iowa State will tell me everything I need to know. OU @ home has been good for a win since 2005. If we can stop WVU that should be another victory. TCU doesn't scare me at all after the last two performances. K-State, play mistake free and it should be a win. I won't speak on UT. Defense looks worlds better than last year due to being injury free, JUCOs coming in and defensive coaches that have actually been coordinators at points in their careers. Offense may have the deepest wide receiving core in the nation. Has two backs that are pretty good, Eric Stephens led the conference in rushing before he got injured at Aggie last year I believe and Kenny Williams is true sophomore that was a 4* out of high school. Basically it is a team to at least pay attention to assuming Iowa State doesn't kick the shit out of us for the third year in a row.
