I really have a feeling that our Offense is going to struggle for some reason against Northwestern.

Even with as bad as their Defense is, I just have a bad feeling about that game.

We are going to come into that game on a streak of easy wins, and we're going to get outcoached

At worst top 15.....but top 10 right now is where I see them.

Interesting stat from DB on 1620 just now.

Nebraska has yet to punt with Tommy running the offense.

They have punted twice since UCLA and RK was running the offfense both times.

Depends on one thing the qb situation/beck play calling

Even tho they played osu very well they will be on the road and not have their home crowd pumpin them up
Also osu ran for a lot of yards against them if beck calls a smart plays and doesn't go into his weird pass happy phase.

Now whose gonna be the qb and how much faith will they have? If tmart struggles do you yank him or let him play through it? Or if you start tommy and he struggles do you yank him for tmart?

Having NW at home will help us and I think. Personally I see a shootout bc that was NW best played game and all the hype and crowd was pushing them that game. NW has even know to be upset city at their own stadium


So if Nebraska can figure out the qb and beck calls a smart game plan. Also if the defense can get confident I think we can hang and get the W. Let's not forget NW has wisky this weekend we can see how legit they are

And as much as I don't like wisky their run game will give us fits too

I'm split I want us to win the games and lmprove but bo can't handle another CC game massacre
Last year nearly did him in if wasn't for how how well we played against uga in that loss it could have been ugly

If NW losses to wisky they are done bc they still have Michigan and Nebraska

Tmart is getting better only issue is planting his feet tithe ground and exploding like his old self
They say he is easing himself to much into it instead of exploding

To most qb wouldn't be too much of an issue but tmart 0-60 like speed is like 2-4 steps and if he doesn't have it teams will see it quickly

My guess we don't see him back to the minny game so he isn't making his comeback the NW game. Maybe a split like what tommy and rk did sdsu game.

I don't know that home field was much of an advantage for them.

Like that could open some can of worms

But I mean we all know it's tmart teams to coaches flat out say otherwise.
Atleast now we have options and tmart knows his play must pick up or tommy may challenge him

Yeah, I realize Taylor was the only option last year.

I'm just curious if the stumbling, bumbling, fumbling, pick 6, penalty ridden offense that we've seen the past couple years is also due to Taylor being hurt the whole time?

OK. So Taylor comes back 100% healthy. It's more than breaking a 100 yd dash once every 5 games. I know he can't take on a tackler for 2 much needed yds and I don't believe he has the QB aptitude necessary to manage the offense to it's potential.
