TE Darts and WR3 choice

Last week I traded Ertz, Larry Fitz and Blue to the Foster owner, for Patterson and Allen. (added Hurns). The Colts play the Ravens this week and I'm benching Allen. Who would you aim for on the FA TE dart board?

ASJ
Amaro
Willson
Ebron
Gresham
Cook

Also, starting Roddy and Hurns (yes), but need a 3rd...

Patterson (short week scares me, but big play potential there in a possible shoot out...in lineup as of now)
DJax (just don't want any part of him vs Sea)
Torrey (finally got pn the board, but targets aren't there and Flacco not as good on the road)

Owen Daniels not available? ASJ didn't practice yesterday. I guess if it comes down to those that you list, I would go with Jared Cook.

WR3 would definitely go with Patterson over the other options.

Daniels is not available. Cook's coming off a nice game, and a bye, hmm. I wonder if I should just try and get Lucky with Allen? I'm not feeling the rookies either. I was feeling ASJ, but yeah, he "aggravated" his foot/ankle, so that's actually who I'm dropping.

Ebron. With Fauria still out, he's gonna get more looks as the pass catching TE. Pettigrew is the blocker in Lombardi's offense.

None of the above... I would go with Clay Harbor... Just think he is in the best situation out of any of them and he will get the ball...

The 2nd person I would do is Cook, just because he still gets the targets... Then I would take a chance on one of the rookies(ASJ, Ebron or Amaro)

1) Why are you benching Allen? Dude caught 10 passes last week and the Jets pass D is shaky? I would play him over the other options.

2) For the TE's I would go Ebron or Gresham.

wish i could find some splits of Ponder in the rain..but none to be found. My prevailing thoughts on rain and a passing attack are that as long as the QB and Wr's can find a way to grip the ball, the rain aids the passing team since the pass rushers don't get quite the push, and the WR knows where they're going so the slippery surface is LESS of an issue to them as it is to the DB's.

If you had better options than Djax at Seattle..ugghh..or Torrey..double ugghh..I'd bench him..but I think you gotta go with him

Ponder was the QB at the end of the season last year, right? Patterson seemed to have a great December, so maybe there's that too?

looks like Ponder was QB from weeks 1-3, and 7-12..CPat's only BIG game came in week 13 with Cassel. But he did have one 8 catch game with Ponder..only resulted in 54 yards, but hey, 8 catches on 11 targets

Would love to go on a tangent here for a couple pages on this topic(if you want to you can start a thread of this topic).



I just don't understand the problem of starting multiple players on a crap team, if they are better or similar to other options... I mean it is not like you are going to start anyone that good anyways, so why does team matter?? shouldn't the crap team help, because you know they will want to pass all game...

I also think fantasy owners get confused with what has happened so far and what should be happening... For example Dwayne allen, has not been getting a lot of catches, but he has had TDs... Sometimes the number of TDs can be a bit of a fluke, especially early on when they happen so often...
