Yeah. Not challenging the info. Just that I didn't remember an injury. What I do remember is Grant struggling to run the offense.

My point is that as a freshman, Tommie lost to Iowa St. So for anyone who's favoring Tommy over Taylor to stay grounded and not set expectations too high.

Just looked it up. Team shit the bed. Tommie included by the looks of things. 3-12 passing? D gave up over 400 on the ground. ISU had 70 carries. And only 4 pass attempts, completing 3.

From what I can recall they waltzed in much like the 96 asu game thinking it was in the bag before it started, ISU played like they always do and gave it their all, that day it was enough. Both those games still get me stirred up to this day

I was at that ASU game. Didn't even stay the night. Drove 4 hours straight home...

Agreed and at least if TA is the starter for the next couple of games he's not dealing with the strength of our schedule. I don't know if there are varying degrees of severity with turf toe or not. But if his healing process is like the first time around he TM may not be ready the rest of the year.

Man I remember that game. I was on my way to Ames when my car broke down. It was brutally cold and had a wind screaming out of the north. I never made it, eating the cost of 4 tickets, plus repair for a blown frost plug in the middle of nowhere.
