Oh man, wrist surgery, guess we will be lucky if he is ready to play.
Tavon Austin expected to miss OTAs after having wrist surgery

He'll be cut loose this winter if he doesn't show some serious improvement.
Maybe both?Pretty funny what Kenny Britt had to say about him! Must have been some bad blood there, or jealousy over his big contract?
Both can be gone as far as I'm concernedMaybe both?
TA came across as an Asshat in Hard Knocks with subpar production LY and still got that huge contract & Britt had the 1K+ Season and gets cut loose.
I could easily see it as both zeke.

I just keep hoping we have yet to see the real talent the Rams have due to Fisher ball. Tavon still may work out but he must stay healthy.
Yeah I know... but he moves and looks like an NFL player. Just keeping my fingers crossed but I agree his time to prove himself is very very short. Same goes for a lot of returning players. It's Time to get it in gear. Your not in Kansas anymore guys win or go home.IDK Bunc, I've watch him drop a lot of crucial passes that would have moved the chains in close games! Plus he's only averaged right around 500 receiving yards a year as being a Ram. So what do we do? Make him one of our highest paid players!
Hopefully McVay helps him earn it all!So what do we do?

I hear he will be used as the deep threat to stretch the field. Maybe he wont be dropping those if he gets behind the defense, because I think the main reason he had the drops was mostly due to him trying to make his moves for YAC's. (We see that all the time all over the league) He does have the speed and if he gets some deep catches he can just run to the endzone without needing to make all of those moves he was so famous in college, and infamous for as a Rams.
If he can play that No. 1 or No. 2 outside WR in McVay's offense he could get to 1K yards and some decent TD production. And since his contract is incentive laden, hitting to those type of milestones helps him realize the greater potential of his deal, and if he falters he's gone.
I expect we may see Kupp or Adams receiving punts and kick offs. Both of those two rookies are special!I was just thinking the same thing, maybe new coach can work his magic.
Some of the other mistakes I've watched him make was on special teams. In the past he's fumbled kick off returns or makes stupid decisions deep in the end zone bringing the ball back instead of taking a knee! He needs to play smarter and not get greedy!
I would not be surprised to see Kupp lead the Rams in receiving this season.
He is a great route runner and has good hands. He could be what Tavon was supposed to be.
Lets hope Kupp puts up numbers that Tavon can only dream about.
