Let's hope the NFL never adopts this stupid rule that is in college. I get it that some of these are blatant, but there are plenty that are unavoidable and kids are getting ejected for it. I'm not an FSU fan but that was terrible

I saw one in the TN/ SC game earlier today. Same thing - the guy catches the pass the defender lowers his head with no launch, the WR lowers his head second and collides. So on top of the 20 yrd competition, 15 yrd penalty plus you lose your starting DB for the rest of the game plus a half in the next one

I don't know enough about the ejection rule to comment on that. I know he could have broken his jaw. So whatever penalty the rule book doles out for that seems warranted. Does the rule require "intent".

I don't think it requires intent. The NCAA can revoke the suspension for the following game.

If you are watching the Skins right now, 51 would have just been ejected for the Skins

Didn't see the play. I don't have a problem with players being ejected if deserving

I agree. Those calls are judgemental and the officials in the NFL are not known for using good judgement. They dont even know what a catch is.
