I think regardless of how this game turns out, Aggy has been exposed. I don't see how they beat LSU, Bama, Miss St with that DL if all those teams pound the football

A&M lost their 3 best defensive players from last season.

There was a lot of chatter about how they could replace all 4 of their WR, 2 offensive lineman, and the running back.

The idea was that A&M had plenty of relatively seasoned replacements for the offensive losses.

But, the defense got decimated arguably worse than the Aggie offense.
They could struggle really badly on defense this season if the replacements don't pan out.

Rice in on pace for about 700 yards.....so A&M will probably being playing a lot of 45-31 type games.

Rice had a decent offense last season.

They were 7-6, but they could move the ball. They were one of those high octane small schools.

I don't think they moved it this easily, but I would not simply say they were 7-6 and awful.

Rice was awful because they could not stop anyone on defense in 2012....the Rice offense was good.
