I think they will. I think there are a lot of media folk trying to throw their 2 pennies in and stir Husker faithful up, but the word that I’m getting is the experts see us having a 99% chance of being in if we get to 23 wins. Even if we lose our first game in the Big 10 tourney.

I think we can get to 23, but I also think if we get to 22 we still have a little bit better than a coin flip’s chance. The experts feel that way as well.

Honestly I think we’re gonna be in.

People can talk all they want about teams being on a hot streak not mattering, but in 2014 that was one of the main reasons the committee said we made it.

We’re one of the hottest teams out there, and I think we can beat anyone. And I mean anyone in the country. Spoiler teams are exactly what you want in that tournament.

We've already exceeded my "best case scenario" win total prediction by 5 games, with 3 left to play.

Based on some things I said, I should be quite content regardless of what happens.

Bracketology Predictions By Conference 2018

They currently have the Big 10 with 4.6 teams into the tournament with Nebrasketball being the .6

They think the Huskers finish their last 3 regular season (2-1) and finish (22-9) overall.

Do that and win a Big 10 tourney game or 2 probably puts the Big 10 at a solid 5.

Jerry Palm was on the radio this morning with KFAB and be says he thinks Nebraska will have to win out and then make it to the Championship game in the Big 10 Tournament....and then at that point he says we’ll have a “chance” of making it.

What a bunch of garbage. If the committee isn’t smart enough to know who should play in the tournament without looking at what a bunch of numbers on paper say, then we need to reconsider who in the hell gets to be on this committee.

Anyone who watched Nebraska play at Creighton could see that there is no gap between those 2 teams. So if you’re going to pencil in Creighton who has a similar record, in reality it should be obvious that Nebraska is at least considerable with 20+ wins.
