Yeah they are going to make us earn it. Had Kansas not drained a three at the buzzer in Lincoln we would be a projected 7-seed right now.

One of the problems that I have with the committee approach is that there really is no element of eye-test factored in. It’s all about numbers, and one basket can be the difference between a team being a solid tournament team and a bubble team.

The Joe Lunardi’s of the world don’t watch Nebraska play basketball in December. In fact, Joe Lunardi probably doesn’t even know who James Palmer Jr. is.

I don’t feel like earning it means they need to win out though. Even the best teams out there drop games they shouldn’t because teams get hot for a day. See Villanova’s loss at home last night to St. John’s....or Ohio State’s loss at home to Penn State.

Yea see I just think that’s overkill.

If the committee expects us to get to 24 wins in order to qualify then I have to expect they’d seed us 7 or so. I have a hard time believing they would seed a P5 team with 24 wins like they’re a bubble team or something.

This leads me to believe 22 wins would have us on the right side of the bubble, 23 would have us in.
