So, Jordy is sticking around. Wonder if it's just until the end of this season?
Jordy is moving to point guard.
We play Kentucky tonight at 7:30 on CSPAN.
Nope. Just said on news he will be back tomorrow
Now that a few minutes have past, I must say we have played like garbage 2 straight games now. In both games we had to turn to the 1-3-1 just to get ourselves back into it.
Starting to wonder if Jordy’s presence is actually more needed than I originally thought. It may make a difference in grabbing rebounds as having a 7 footer frees up other guys like Palmer to get in there and grab loose boards.
Jordy’s absence has absolutely nothing to do with the poor shooting though. We can’t hit wide open 3’s for whatever reason.
We’ll see if getting him back for the Michigan game helps at all. Happy to get the win as a loss to Illinois likely would have put this season in the books, but damn. Hope we can get back to playing basketball this Thursday. HUGE game coming up.
score sheet says 18. Ill had 46 total rebounds. 14 2nd chance points and the 30 points in the paint.I will admit that I undervalued what Jordy does for this team. Defensively he can be a presence down low in the paint and it never helps when you lose your second leading rebounder on a team that struggles to rebound as it is. I think we gave up 48 offensive rebounds last night to Illinois.

i blame myself guys, i watched most of last night. they never play well when i watch.
11 games left and really only 4 or 5 games that could be resume' builders: Michigan, @OSU, @Minnesota and Maryland and Indiana who somehow is tied for 4th in the conference.
With 13 wins, those remaining 6 games now become absolute must wins and you need to win 1 or 2 of those "resume' builder" games just to be on the bubble. Then a win or 2 in the conference tournament.
The margin for error the rest of the way is ZERO
Nebrasketball should just call Michigan their "Daddy"
Huskers haven't beaten Michigan since joining the B1G. 0 - 8 with an average margin of victory of over 16 points.
And don't forget about the worst home loss EVER last year against them at the end of the year.
Do I roll with Nebraska at +4 or not?
I’ve struck gold every time I’ve bet Nebraska this season. Not once have they let me down yet.
I'm driving from Denver to Lincoln to watch my Hoosiers against you guys in Feb.
