Anyone from the CBS boards remember Orton4prez? That guy was a complete douche but always good for a couple of laughs. Sometimes there are trolls that make me chuckle. He was one of those. I also got a kick out of MasterAgain. Shameless Broncos homer, but that dude could really rile up the masses.

SportsHoopla has it's own share of characters, but tame when I compare it to CBS (or from what it sounds like the ESPN boards were too).

Yeah he used to own Islands and had more money than Trump. Would fly and meet with Bill Gates and high ups from all over the world. Avg bet for him was 500k

We don't want trolling of any sort. I know the hawks board on ESPn was trolled but some of you trolled the niners board on ESPN, and they want nothing to do with that here. They have zero tolerance. They had a board ruined before and they don't want to have it happen again. You might not like it, but you can't change it.

That is why there should be a smack talk thread on the SF board. Do not venture in unless you have your inet armor on. There is an odd fear going on there.

I went back to view my post history. It only goes back 500 posts which was back to November.
As I recall, I waited a couple of months (maybe it was weeks) to visit the SF board once I came aboard SportsHoopla. I knew that I would be recognized as I had no reason to change my handle from the ESPN boards which I had used since the year 2000. I also knew that if I said 9ers suck, or their draft blew chunks or anything like that I was subject to a ban.
So I thought I would open up with a "wassup" and see what kind of reaction I would get. SportsHoopla of Boom is what I got and I responded to Beaker and Patterson (Patterson isn't that bad a guy but we did spar a bit in the old days).
There are many times I would like to voice my opinion on their board and that is why I feel a smack thread makes sense.
For some damn reason there is a fear of installing a smack thread on their board.

harmless just like anyone else who is tagged a "troll"

Sure is better that most of the bad trolls from CBS never made it over here to begin with. Every base had them, but some of those GB fans were pretty bad. You didn't stir up too much shit over there, but after that 'fail mary' game there were throngs of them attacking our board day and night. Was kind of funny really. I have no idea if any of our people were attacking your board as I never even visited it, but I doubt many of your people were there either as they all lived on the Seahawks board.

First of all admins? Was there such a thing at CBS? I never reported anything in all the time I was there if there is indeed a place to do so.

But when has anyone seen me shy away from a good troll war? Of course I got some posts in on them and simply ignored the stuff I didn't want to waste my time on. In fact you got a few comments in here and there during that time and I remarked to you that I appreciated that you could actually carry on a conversation without the vitriol of some of your fellow fans.

I think it's pretty well established that I like to feed trolls here and there. And I've been known to stir up the shit myself. I'm no saint and never claimed to be.
