I assure you the trolling by other teams was fierce on CBS as well. I had an ESPN account as well and read some of it, but chose not to post there much because there was nothing constructive. CBS had lots of garbage, but the odd nugget of rationality did get through here and there. Still, that's what you will get from unmoderated boards 100% of the time. People cannot self police at all. And it's hard to find moderated boards that allow people to be themselves while also keeping the obvious asshats out at least enough to allow some normal conversations. Many are way overmoderated. Love the ones where people who agree with them get away with murder and people get banned for just not agreeing with them.

I like smack talk and lord knows i have hear it all directed at the Hawk but the line from smack talk to outright abuse is very easy to see.
You can ask anyone that was there on ESPN for the last five years what we went through,so to compare my little pic i did and get banned over at the Niners board i find insulting.

naw. I can't see him being the next breaker. I think you are mainly annoyed at his overuse of the laughing emoticon. Still, he won't last long before people just learn to ignore him. His material is boring and stale. He is way too easy to expose.

Someone else brought up Ram? Wouldn't call him a breaker either. Seems able to discuss at times. I'd say he just isn't a terribly friendly sort to people he doesn't agree with more than a full on troll. DJ, I get it. I said I read ESPN here and there and know what it was about. I don't need to ask anyone else. I would just say there are still those here now who haven't fully gotten over that site and moved on. There are a few seahawk fans that still act like they are on ESPN and I've sure come across a few SF fans who do as well. At some point I hope all of them can get over the butthurt from that era and learn to not make every thread they create about slamming someone else.

The only difference between a SF fan and a Seahawk fan is what team they enjoy watching. That's it. They aren't from a different country and they get up and go to work and take care of their family just way we do. If both sides learn to stop treating each other like they are from another planet then all of the hate should go away. Taunt them before games sure, but the endless bashing of anyone gets old and just makes those doing it look juvenile IMO.

If you look at the NFC boards, about half of the NFC fans are on the Niner's board. I have noticed this all season.
Is that because they are just that followed or did they find some way to make more fans aware of these boards. It took me awhile to find my way here.

Even the Seattle board consistently has less members than the Niner's board.

Most of the niners fans/members(me 2) came from the ESPN boards.. we were all chatting with each other prior to SportsHoopla then espn took a sh*t that clogged the forums and we marched on to SportsHoopla...

It may surprise you , but I signed up here after lurking on the 49er board and hearing about this forum.

Head start sounds right, it was just about when Harbaugh came over IIRC... look at my sign up and thats a basis of when the migrating began... kind of.

I'm happy theres more football fans, esp. AZ, SEA, STL... its always nice to read other fans opinions/skeptics/hype/homers/reactions/etc...

just wish more of the other teams gets filled, you learn more about other teams by reading their fans' post and comments...
