Superbowl Bad Weather Cancellation ??

It was a test case to see how it works out. If it goes well other cities have some possibility.

There has been talk that it will become mandatory for all teams to host "Hard Knocks"...make it the trade off.
Hard knocks in the summer, host the Superbowl 6 months later.

Play in London the following season...

Every body wins!
And loses.

I sincerely doubt that will be the reality of the situation if it is a "success." More likely I feel it just opens the door for other major cities in cold markets with outdoor stadiums such as Chicago for example. The Buffalos of the world will NEVER receive a SB, period.

Well then theoretically you can't eliminate all factors that might favor one team over another regardless of where you hold it... dome-team vs no dome team, hot weather vs not hot weather team, etc.

Eliminate all factors no? like the indy chicago rain storm in miami....

But when New Jerseys average temp is like 32 degrees in late jan/early feb.....and their average precipitation amount is whatever it is. A logical human can see an outside superbowl in NJ isn't the best idea.

I doubt buffalo has the infrastructure. That's a real consideration. Weather shouldn't be.
