Why do Teams refuse to run the ball on the Pats in the superbowl when they have a guaranteed win

This is two in a row where a simple run up the middle would win it

Even a run for .5 yards, and you lift the trophy

Does Belicheck somehow jedi mind trick these teams into passing the ball when a run play assures victory??
