We need our safeties back there otherwise the Defense takes a gigantic hit and Wade has to game plan around the street FAs.

No doubt. That is something I've been worrying about. Everything I've read, however, suggests that both Ward and Stewart will play. Still, have to wonder how close to 100% they might be.

Stewart has to be one of the best signing for Denver in quite some time in terms of value. Rahim the Dream was a healthy scratch in HOUSTON for the last 9 games. Nice to have a free safety that can roam. Not sure you can play on a sprained MCL.

I agree that Stewart was a really nice acquisition. Hope he is up to what he says here:

While AJ and Stewart are resting up this past week - their back ups got the reps - so they also will be ready - love the Kubiak system. The way Kubiak uses team personnel is brilliant.

As the article points out, depending on the severity, him wanting to play vs him hurting his team without the movement required to play his position will be the key. The NFL is about matchups and they prey on the weak links.

Your comment reminded me of this article, though it is about how Phillips, rather than Kubiak, tailors his system to fit players.

I don't think there's a Super Bowl win I've wanted more than. This one. XXXII comes close, but I want Denver to be THE team that takes home the 18-karat gold "50" that comes with this year's Lombardi.

Carolina is vulnerable down the seam. I'd like to see Denver gameplan with DT and Saunders bunched and run some seam patterns. Sucks Davis is in the dog house because he could run the seam better than anyone on the team

I think that Daniels, Green and Davis are all capable of getting loose down a seem.

Yep. I live in Redding which is about 2 and half hr drive to SF. Supposed to be 66 here Sunday so knew SF would be nice also. Wind can always rear it`s head there but hopefully not. Just wish I had $5000.00 bucks to dish out for a cheap seat.

Just want to say watching the media day on NFL Network that it sinking in even more just how fortunate us Denver fans are here at SB 50. This opportunity is so special to have our team in a SB that is so historic in so many ways and I'm just so humbled and excited and totally floored at the significance and storylines that surround this game. Truly a blessing in football terms.

Just heard on the radio that Tomas Davis is likely to play Sunday. I was hoping that we might catch a break and Davis be unable to play. Since he will have to wear some sort of a cast on his broken arm, perhaps that will at least reduce his effectiveness.

Ticket prices are ridiculous. I wanted to go to SF to check out some of the Super Bowl festivities but having a hard time finding time to go.

Tell ya what I love that city. My ex's family has owned Fishermans Wharf and Sabellas restaurants since they were crab stands and a few flats plus a 5 mil + house right on The Marina so I was treated to some of the really nostalgic and unique places to see there. I loved going there in Oct during air show. Blue Angels would fly right over their house and shake all windows like mad. Used to walk to Chestnut st and go to this Irish bar ( Delaneys I believe )that reminded me of the 40's ( and sure it's prob been there close to that )and meet some amazing people like writers, etc. Even bought a book from one. Very different, laid back, eccentric,etc people there. Much different atmosphere than LA area where I lived a large part of my life and still visit frequently. If you never been to SF people, it is a beautiful city with its very own unique flavor. Just brought back some memories is all
