Sunday predication Cowboys vs Niners

I'm going to predict an early season upset in the Cowboys vs Niners game. I think the 49ers have been bombarded with distractions ( by injuries and the suspension if IMO the best pass rusher in the NFL among other things.) and though the will likely recover well I think it will prove to hurt them early in the season. Timing is everything. Cowboys 27-24 over the Niners.

Going back a few months I saw this as an upset win for us too. Just something about SFs offseason made it seem like good timing for us. Smith out is big and I'm not so convinced about their running game if their OLis less than 100%.

Cowboys look like a mess right now. So many injuries on defense certainly affects the cohesiveness of the unit and not seeing how they can force a punt in this game. On offense we have tons of talent,but they are poorly coached and have proven to be one dimensional and very predictable. Cowboys get behind early and will try and play catch up the entire game. I also see Doug Free as a turnstile on the right side which means Romo is going to be flattened. Dan Bailey is our best player in this one and kicks 7 field goals

Lol 7 fg's wow. That would put him in the record books...I think. Niners certainly should win this game on paper, but speaking of cohesion their starting offense still haven't scored a T.D.

If it was the Eagles playing the 49ers I'd take the 49ers so this is no slight but most think San Fran is a top 3 team. But Dallas does have a history of playing well against top teams like the Broncos last year.

I think Dallas gives the 9ers a little more fight than they'll be expecting, but the defense will be too bad to keep it going, and the offense won't look as good as expected.

Let's be clear what people are saying. No one said Dallas will be a better team or win more games. Just talking about possibly winning game one at home after an interesting SF offseason without Smith, without Bowman and maybe without Boone. If we are going to beat them, this is the best chance IMO

Well it possible the 9ers might be without another defensive player.

Funny. I doubt you'll find too many here not agree the 9ers are the better team. However as you point out it is the Cowboys board.

I can't say with confidence that the Cowboys will win this game, but I can say with confidence that the 49ers are not a top 3 team at the moment. Not with Aldon's suspension and all the controversy that has surrounded them this offseason. I would take quite a few teams over the 49ers right now.
