The majority of CFB coaches don't do well in the NFL. Very few exceptions. Pete Carroll currently comes to mind as the exception. But remember the Jags are a very bad team. Anyone that expected Meyer to be a miracle worker year one just wants him to fail. Personally I think he's gonna fail in the NFL.

An example of a CFB coach that had a really bad first year in the NFL. I'm not saying Meyer's on par with this coach either. But Jimmy Johnson's first year in Dallas he started 0-8 and went 1-15.
