Besides Chase I think Kupp is the clear top safe option. Cross your fingers he doesn’t have injury problems but he has an obvious real connection with Stafford in McVay’s system. If Joe doesn’t take Kupp I probably go Kupp instead of Chase. I don’t think Adams is that risky, he played with Carr in college. I think those 3 are my top 3 for safe picks + potential production. JJ is probably right there at 4 or 5.

I hear everyone say there is the elite 7 WRs... past that there is a big drop...

But of those 7, i think the 3 SAFEST are- Jefferson, Lamb, and Chase...
Has Lamb ever been a #1? Not questioning his production as one bc I think he can produce just something to think about

dont think so... but he has also never had the scenario he is in right now.... but you are probably right, he should not be considered as safe...

Yeah Cooper on the other side since he's been in Dallas. Not saying it will be a ABrown-Juju situation but just not top 5 WR safe worthy. If he is that guy he can have a HUGE year

i could be wrong with my SAFETY...

maybe i am just clouded by the fact that i think players like Hill, Kupp, and adams cant really improve on their numbers from last year... i mean they can, because anything can happen... but all their scenarios are worse than they were last year... Kupp had the career year, and i will never trust veterans after their career years...

He won't beat those numbers but he so much better than the other WR's he doesn't have to. He had a legendary year but either way, it was just about safe WR's. I think he is pretty safe, even with a big dropoff he can be a top 5 WR.

Indeed Kupp can have a substantial drop off and still be top 5, one only has too look at how much better then those behind him did.

dang, feeling like I'm missing out, now I gotta start another best ball slow draft!

and there's like 25 WR1s for fantasy in the NFL these days, the one I consider the safest for 2022 is still on the board so I'll keep my trap shut

Just remember. Suicide is different than mbbrl. In mbbrl it’s 2 Wr and a flex. Suicide is 3 Wr and no flex.

Absolutely. But the narrative is no longer there. We don’t have Stanford needing to prove himself, they improved their receiving corp. and they have a healthier running game as of today. I see kupp being closer to what he was in 2021 than 2022.

He was just taken - no one boasts the TD floor of Mike Evans with TB12 at the helm, especially with Godwin returning from serious knee injury and not available all summer and most likely the first 4-6wks of the season getting back up to speed.

TDs are king in standard scoring, and I'd give Evans and Diggs a proper bump up my rankings in that format into the tier with Kupp, JJ, Chase.
Sure, those guys will get 300-500 more yds on the season and have plenty more receptions, but standard scoring vaults red zone targets/touches value tremendously.

I was upset he was taken. I really did not want to take the last of the elite 7. As I just don’t trust him. So I panicked and took a TE. Mike evans would have been my pick there.

Think Stafford is still plenty motivated and IDK if the WR corp is improved or has took a step back. Lost woods and OBJ and added Robinson. Lost RB Michel have Akers trying a comeback from an Achilles injury...may have to wait and see how these changes shake out, but I'd bet on Kupp being top 5.
