Suh and Cobb gone

Reggie McKenzie definitely needs to make a splash in the draft and FA this year; his job most likely depends on it. The two biggest FA targets seemed to be Suh and Cobb. With both gone, where does he turn now? I think it is Maclin and Knighton.

Those two are very good players.. If we could get Maclin and Knighton?? What a score that would be!! Im pretty high on Hughs as well.. He would fit right in at DE!! Seems like the Raiders like Gresham eh?? Not a bad TE at all.. Bring him in if he wants to come!!

Suh and Cobb were the sexy FAs.. But they are not the only ones that could help us!! Lot of talent out there that could help..

So the word out there has Oakland making a strong push for Hudson eh?? But KC putting up a strong fight!!
Looks like Wiz2 might not be in the cards, BUMMER!! I would be very good with Hudson!! If Wiz2 walks..

He had just 62 catches for 460 yards (7.4ypc) with 5 TD's last season in Cincinnati. Gresham is still just 26 but they better not pay more than 4-5 million per season for him.

Cooper is better than any FA WR we could get.. And its really no shock that KC might land Maclin, he did play for Reid so there's some ties there.. We got Carr baby!!

I figured the Raiders won the bidding war on him as soon as the Maclin news came out. He's a damn good center, congrats.

Pretty steep price for a Center of all positions though. Good player but price seems way over the top.

With the way inflation is going, plus a rather strong influx of C talent lately, this doesn't surprise me too much. He didn't sign last year when he was offered 6M prior to 2013; he bet on himself, and he won.

Oh I understand that this year things are just getting crazy with contracts. I think though the teams that wait and sign the 2nd wave of FA's will end up being the big winners as the other teams will have blown all of their money on high priced guys so there won't be the big bidding war. Such as I can see Wiz2 getting something like $5 million a year. Now I do think Hudson is the better of the two players but not $4 million more a year worth.

The Center is the QB for the OL.. Hudson is a 25 year old top 3 rated Center.. So you know he wasn't going to be cheap.. Welcome to the NEW NFL where the price for good FAs goes up every year.. As the CAP goes up, so does the price of players..
